About The Project Shelf
The Project Shelf is a place where students publish the projects they built in their courses: reports, models, notebooks, slides, code, recordings and live demos, with a README and a version history, the way working analysts and engineers show their work.
How it works
- Students own the choice. Every project and every file starts private. The student decides what becomes unlisted or public, and can take it back down at any time.
- Professors approve before anything is shown. A course professor reviews the work first. Grades and professor notes are never published.
- Work stays attributed. Every download carries a provenance id that traces the copy back to the student's record. Each project states its license.
- AI help is labelled. Praxis, an optional assistant, is off by default. Anything it helps make is marked AI-assisted.
Who runs it
The Project Shelf is operated by Pretium Investments LLC, independently of any university. Universities are not parties to the service and no university system or data is connected to it. Students sign in with a university email address so that a course professor can confirm who made the work.
